CARE College of Arts and Science functions under a trust called G. Narayanan Educational Trust, which was formed in 1999. The vision of forming the college was to offer quality education, provide world-class infrastructure, create a better ambience for research & education, encourage innovation, and enforce multidisciplinary education.

CARE College of Arts & Science course list includes B.sc in Interior Design, B.Sc in Visual Communication, B.com, B.com CA (Computer Application), and BBA. The college also offers specialisation in a few of these courses. Apart from CARE College of Arts & Science courses, the college also organises summer & winter courses during semester breaks. Such as photography, nature & form, poster design, design sketching etc for interior design and visual communication. However, For B.com, B.com CA and BBA students courses like excel, online share trading, digital marketing, banking & financial services certifications, accounting & taxation, etc are organised.
